Do you find yourself feeling anxious, confused, or trapped? Are you navigating through a challenging period in your life?
We may all aspire to lead a life devoid of anxiety, confusion, death, tears, and fear. Regardless of our race or gender, it is unfortunate that this is not the reality for most of us.
Experiences such as bereavement, grief, loss, bullying, self-esteem issues, anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and work-related difficulties (and others) are all obstacles we may encounter throughout our life journey.
Each individual can face tough times, and it can be challenging to transform these experiences into a foundation for the life we desire.
I am a fully qualified and accredited Counselling Professional. My career has consistently involved working with individuals, which has enabled me to cultivate skills over many years. My mission is to assist you in uncovering your potential and to provide support in identifying the essential tools for your development and growth, all while working at your pace.
MY STORY
Trusted Counselling Professional
A very warm welcome. My name is Jean Williams, Accreditted Counsellor based in Ashford close to Twickenham, Richmond and surrounding areas.
Having been through many difficult trials, I sought out professional counselling. Before my first visit, I had a range of emotions and thoughts about attending. I thought, 'What if my problem isn't important enough for counselling, will I look stupid?', 'Maybe I should deal with my problem myself!'. 'I may not get on with the counsellor, what then?'
I decided to put these varying thoughts behind me and give it a try.
I learned that there was no problem too small or overwhelming and that I can work through it with my counsellor. The care and support I received will stay with me forever. I hope that I can do the same for others.
I acknowledge that the first steps into counselling can be daunting. My focus is to make the process into therapy as comfortable and smooth for you as possible by providing an environment that is confidential and exudes warmth, care, and safety.
I consider seeking support and engaging in counselling as a courageous step; providing you with the opportunity to either resolve or manage your situation more effectively.
So please be encouraged to take the next step to find support. It can end up being the best decision that you have made.
I delight in the progress and success of my clients and look forward to supporting you. Please see 'How I work' and get in touch to learn more. My practice in Ashford is within easy reach of Twickenham, Richmond, Feltham, Staines-Upon-Thames, Laleham, Egham, Shepperton and surrounding areas.
